Pet Photo Guide

Follow this guide below to get the best possible photo for us to work from.

If you aren't able to follow these exact steps, worry not! Our dedicated team checks all orders and photos as they come in.

If your photo doesn't meet our criteria, we'll let you know shortly after receiving your order, and help you choose the most ideal photo.

• Take your photo at eye level with your pet.

• Close ups are the best!

• Take you picture in natural daylight and don't use a flash.

• Try to get a shot of your pet sitting still - clearer the picture the better!

• Make sure the entire pet is in the frame, no part of the head or ears should be cut off.

• We need a minimum size of 500px x 500px.

Examples of good and not so good photos to submit:

GOOD: Take at eye level with good outdoor, natural lighting.

NOT SO GOOD: Heavy shadows on the dog's face.

NOT SO GOOD: Photo taken from side, without frontal view of dog's face.

Remember, if you submit a less than ideal photo that may result in poor quality, we'll reach out to you. If you have any questions or would like our help determining the best photo to use, please email us at support@roverandspot.com or submit your photo to our live webchat and an agent will help right away!
